Studio Etiquette

Dance studio rules are for the benefit of all students. At Ms. Kais Academy of Performing Arts we like to have our students uniformly dressed to create a cohesive environment. We emphasize the consistent practice of dance class and performance etiquette and dress code.

Attendance

  • Students must arrive 10-15 minutes before class to allow time to use the bathroom, dress, remove jewelry, and neatly put hair back.

  • Please contact your teacher if you/your student will be late or unable to make class.

  • Students who miss 3 or more classes may have a diminished role in performances.

  • Makeups for missed classes are offered when possible and handled on an individual basis.
